Mitsubishi Unveils Laser TV @ CES 2008

Mitsubishi wants to be the king of laser technology; it becomes obvious from their 75% dominance of the led laser market. Stepping forward in this direction, the brand has unveiled big screen TVs at CES 2008. Unlike an ordinary TV set, it is a laser TV. What difference does it make? Featured above is a 65-inch laser HDTV that consumes laser beam and offers the widest range of rich, composite shades, with clarity and depth at par. Against existing displays, it is energy efficient and has a potential of providing less than 40% of the color spectrum offering clarity of vision to eyes. It can also convey twice the color of present high-definition televisions. No details about its pricing are available.
