Celestia: Space simulation on Mac


Celestia 1.5.1 is a beautiful application of simulation for Mac OS X that shows and allows you to explore our universe in 3 dimensions. Unlike other similar programs, however, borders the visitor on the surface of the Earth; allows rather wander the solar system, admire more than 100,000 stars and even beyond the galaxy.

Thanks to the functions of zooming, you can quickly move from clusters of galaxies at a distance of a few meters from the surface of planets. In addition, the program has a huge catalogue of stars, galaxies, planets, satellites, asteroids, comets and even convincing spacecraft inspired by Star Trek, Star Wars and Babylon 5. Beyond this, you can also download other 20 different solar systems, 50 ships and 70 space objects.
