Acer will launch 8.9-inch Atom-based MID in August

Acer is going to launch its 8.9-inch Atom-based MID ‘Aspire One’ in August. Acer’s ‘Aspire One’ adopts WiMAX technology as well as LED backlight, an 8.9-inch display and 1,024*600 resolution. Atom-based MID ‘Aspire One’ supports 1GB of RAM, 120GB HDD and Windows XP Operating System. ‘Aspire One’ has 3 hours battery life. It measures 249*170*29mm at 1.1kg. This will be available in August in the Japan market and suggested price is around 54,800(JPY).
