Supercomputer is a new generation of computer that completely changed history of computation. In this row IBM corp. and the University of Toronto are engage to build Canada’s most powerful supercomputer. It is expecting that this supercomputer will be one of the top twenty fastest supercomputers in the world. This Mammoth machine will be capable to store data equivalent to one million regular DVDs and performing 360 trillion calculations per second.

The entire budget of Supercomputer project, including operating costs and construction is $47 million. The strategic initiatives executive Chris Pratt at IBM Canada said that upcoming supercomputer’s power is 30,000 to 40,000 home computers when they are linked together.

At present most of the companies are manufacturing computer to keep in mind students requirements as well as their education purposes. In this row Daewoo Lucoms unveiled ‘LUKID’ in the Korea market. It is a low-cost education-use mobile computer that is especially designed for children.

Features included a 9-inch LCD display, 30GB HDD, 512MB of RAM, This mobile computer ‘LUKID’ supports SD card slot, wireless LAN and USB port. The LUKID is powered by Windows XP OS and Intel 900MHz Celeron processor. It is based on Intel’s Classmate PC.

Adobe has presented the beta of Flash 10. Since this is a major release, we find significant improvements in the layout of text, support to animation and 3D effects, customizable filters el’accelerazione hardware video.
