Camcorder Panasonic HDC-SD100 HDC-HS100 with sensor 3MOS.Cool, Photos and Video, Panasonic, 3mos, Panasonic, camcorders

The last two cameras born at home are the Panasonic HDC-SD100 and the HDC-HS100. The importance of these two models is not so much nell’apparenza or details quite common, but the sensor: are the first in which the company makes debut the 3MOS. The 3MOS are precisely sensors, which they say give an improved sensitivity to light, while remaining decidedly small in size, but this affect the levels of resolution, which affect 520k pixels in video (16:9). The zoom grows up to 12x, compared to the previous version that stopped at 10x.

The difference between the two models is roughly in the management of memory: the SD100 writes on SDHC memory card, without further choices, while the HS100 addition to this possibility also offers 60GB of disk; without counting the manual controls, both are accompanied by auto mode, control of contrast and scene selection in an intelligent manner, to get to optimize well as levels of exposure and focus (without considering the obvious presence of an optical image stabilizer).

The costs are not low, although not prohibitive for their target audience: the most simple, Panasonic HDC-HS100, along with a memory from 8GB is prezza around $ 1,100 (roughly 700 €), while the Panasonic HDC-SD100 get to touch the $ 1,300 (to exchange 835 €). In any case we will wait: their arrival on the market is scheduled for early September. Atri models that we talked in the past can be found here.
