The people of Buffalo joins the war of the hard drives and recently published its new HD-NH500S / M 500GB of space. It is a 2.5-inch HDD with SATA connection and a speed of 5400rpm. Cost around 166 euros and will come up for sale, at least initially, in Japan.

It will be available in August. Barracuda 7200.11 the SATA HDD incorporates four platters of 375GB. This new HDD provides 120MB/second data transfer rate. The 3.5-Inch SATA HDD is available in 1TB, 640GB, 750GB, 500GB, 160GB and 320GB version. However Seagate has announcement of 2.5-Inch 500GB 5400/7200rpm HDD. But it will be available in fourth quarter.
