Multi-Touch trackpad: anything goes
Thursday, November 6th, 2008
There is an update on the news yesterday about the first problems of youth found in the new Multi-Touch trackpad, which fitted the new range of Apple laptops, called Unibody. First, the malfunction appears to afflict the MacBook Pro, and not the MacBook, but the good news is that Apple has confirmed to be at work on the problem. A user, in fact, has contacted Apple via mail complaining about various anomalies.
The trackpad glass in certain conditions does not record the clicks, and the hinges at the base of the display have the unfortunate tendency to “shoot” and quit when forming a very acute angle, for example when you are lying on the bed. Immediately contacted by phone from Apple spokesman, the user has seen reassure both the behaviors of its new MacBook Pro.
