Only There Will be a Stamp of ‘Ready for Windows 7′ by 4 that had Vista

Friday, November 7th, 2008

With the problems that Microsoft was due to its peculiar program compatibility with Vista, not surprisingly, has now decided to reduce it to a single stamp “Ready for Windows 7″ for the hardware capable of running its new operating system. According to The Register, there will be a single stamp for PC, but another to touch screens and one more for Media Centers. On the touch screen makes sense to indicate whether a device has tactile features, but the Media Center is beyond me. And the last question: Why a single stamp turns suddenly into three?

SecondLight adds to the layers of Microsoft Surface

Wednesday, October 22nd, 2008

Although it is not the only one that develops tactile surfaces, Microsoft seems willing to finance any ideas that go into that line. If we saw before his strange SideSight system, which detects the gestures on the phone without touching it, now it’s up to SecondLight the turn, a “magic lens” to accompany the Microsoft Surface. SecondLight lets slip a type of transparent screen above Surface and see extra information on the screen. For example, the interior structure of a vehicle, as in the picture. Interestingly, though would be nice if Microsoft would focus on making a little Surface economically viable, both for them and, above all, for us. Follow the link for more details.

It is obvious that this is a new technology to which even I can not imagine that it, but I say, does the image or logo of this image may have something to do? Update: It has been discovered the new mouse: Microsoft Blue Track

Fly like iCare with iBird., Ads, Consoles and Games, Software, iBird

The iBird Flight Simulator was by far the most creative demo of Microsoft Research Summit yesterday. Developed in collaboration with the University of New York, he works with a USB controller connected to two ropes shrink to detect your movements in 3D. The iBird returns this information simulator that projects a 3D world in which you are a bird that flutters.

The coolest is without doubt the use of fans connected to the computer, which increase or reduce the apparent wind depending on the speed at which you want. You get a feeling of air resistance during your flight. Ilia Rosenberg, a leading student of the NYU behind this project, explained that they had tried to use Wiimote, but they did not have this feeling of force feedback that allows their USB controller.
