Mitron presents SSD that will be: 260 MB / s speed

The Mitron, one of the most important South Korean companies that produce memories SSD, today presented a new generation of controllers to assemble on solid-state memories. It will be able to travel at a speed of 260MB / s, because equipped with a system of eight channels (compared to four today). According to the company this control is not only twice faster than the present generation, but is also the fastest ever put up for sale.
Mitron has in mind to launch three new products based on this technology: the Mtron SSD Express Card, Mini PCI-E Card for mobile devices and Mtron XTM 7500 SSD for the highly specialized fields such as aviation, the medical industry and so forth. In the first two cases the maximum speed read / write will attest on 110/65 MB / s (and will be equipped with ad hoc software installation and boot), while the last will have a capacity of 128GB and will be guaranteed with temperature ranges from -45 ° C to +90 ° C.

The SSD will be on sale starting in August next year, but for the whole line will have to wait until the beginning of 2009.
