More information on USB 3.0., USB, USB 3.0

MaximumPC has published an article on the new USB 3.0, which is supposed to watch this week and indeed, as you can see above, we see (something else is officially present). The article may see some more connectors, as the class B is commonly seen in printers or mini USB 3.0 (you can see below). But what are interesting points in favour of this new cable to transmit data.

Perhaps the most important thing is to say that it is compatible with USB 2.0, which is any USB 3.0 cable can run on any gadget that has the earlier version. even version 1.1, if that is something I live with this version. The maximum speed for data exchange with this cable is 4.8Gbps, allowing move large quantities of files in a very short time, just at a time when it is not uncommon to see several gigabytes of files, like movies in HD.

With USB 3.0 can also be electrically charged any device that accepts cargo via USB, usually players or phones, but now will be faster thanks to his departure from 100mAh to 900mAh. Even more important than speed, is that energy use is better managed and more efficient than previous releases.

Does the problem? Well, perhaps that to enjoy these transfers with USB 3.0 is that three things neceistaremos new (ie pay), first a PC or laptop with USB 3.0, the latter a data cable and the third on gadget that marras accept USB 3.0, which presumably is not cheap in its first few months of marketing.
